
Butler Building Terms of Sale
All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed. Please ensure that all order details are correct before finalizing your purchase. Orders must be picked up or delivered within five (5) days of manufacture.
Warranty
All warranties are provided directly by Butler Manufacturing and accessory manufacturer. Standard manufactering terms and conditions shall apply according to Butler Manufacturing.. We do not offer any additional warranties beyond what is provided by the manufacturer. Additionally, we are not responsible for any liquidated damages, consequential damages, or legal fees, including attorney and expert witness fees arising from the use, purchase, or warranty of the products purchased. Damage to any order must be documented by photo prior to unloading and given to us within 24 hours to process. Claims made after delivery shall not be accepted. Orders must be picked up or delivered within five (5) days of manufacturing or storage fees shall acrue. After 30 days of non-pickup, owner bought materials shall be exposed of with no recourse.
Builder Material Receipt Policy and the Basic Building Installation Guide
When your shipment arrives, please complete the following:
- Take pictures of the trailer upon arrival.
- Take at least six pictures from each side of the trailer, as well as the front and rear
- Inspect all materials as soon as they are unloaded.
- Verify that the quantities received match the truck manifest.
- Check for any visible damage, shortages, or missing items.
If you identify any damage, shortages, or discrepancies:
- Note the issue on the BOL delivery receipt before signing, when applicable.
- Keep a copy or take a picture of the signed BOL that was noted of the damage
- Important: If damage is not documented on the BOL at the time of delivery, the carrier may deny the claim, and the builder may be responsible for the cost of replacement materials.
- Take clear photos of the damaged materials, packaging, and shipping labels.
- Notify your Project Manager immediately with the following information:
- Project name
- Delivery date
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the damage or shortage
- Copy of the BOL
Prompt notification is essential to ensure claims are submitted within the carrier’s required timeframes and to minimize delays to your project.
If all materials are received in good condition and match the truck manifest, no further action is required.
