About the Butler StylWall II Fluted Panel
StylWall II Fluted is Butler’s concealed-fastener wall panel — the most finished single-skin look in the Butler wall lineup. There are no fasteners showing on the face. Panels snap together with an interlocking joint that hides every fastener, so you get clean, unbroken lines and a sharp, architectural look fit for storefronts, offices, and any wall where appearance matters.
The Fluted panel runs 16 inches wide with a ribbed, embossed face in 24-gauge steel, one piece from base to top of wall up to 40 feet. StylWall II is built to re-skin an existing wall and make it look new again. We supply genuine Butler StylWall II panels for both.

What Sets StylWall II Fluted Apart
- Hidden fasteners, clean face. Panels lock together with a snap-in interlocking joint that conceals the fasteners. Nothing penetrates the visible face, so the wall reads as one continuous, uninterrupted surface — a step up from exposed- or semi-concealed-fastener panels.
- A more refined look. At 16 inches wide with an embossed, fluted face, StylWall II puts more shadow lines and texture across the wall than a 36-inch ribbed panel. The embossing also helps hide minor handling marks. The result is an architectural finish that suits a public-facing building.
- Where it sits in the Butler wall lineup. Butlerib® II uses exposed fasteners (lowest cost). Shadowall™ tucks the fastener into a groove (semi-concealed). StylWall II hides the fasteners completely (most finished). Pick by how much the wall’s appearance matters and how the budget runs.
- Fluted vs. Flat – The Fluted panel: 24-gauge, ribbed, and able to take a variety of insulation systems behind it. The Flat StylWall II is 26-gauge with a factory-laminated rigid insulation board for flatness, and a slight waviness (“oil canning”) can show on flat panels.
Finishes & Colors
StylWall II Fluted comes in 24-gauge with the ButlerCote finish — a full-strength 70% Kynar 500/Hylar 5000 fluoropolymer that resists chalking and fading and carries a 25-year warranty. The full ButlerCote wall color range is available.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the Butler StylWall II Fluted panel? A 16-inch-wide, 24-gauge concealed-fastener steel wall panel with a ribbed, embossed face. Panels interlock to hide the fasteners, giving a clean architectural wall for new or retrofit use, with a 25-year ButlerCote finish.
- Does StylWall II have exposed fasteners? No. Panels snap together with an interlocking joint that conceals the fasteners — nothing shows on the visible face.
- StylWall II Fluted vs. Flat — what’s the difference? Fluted is 24-gauge with a ribbed, textured face and takes a variety of insulation systems. Flat is 26-gauge with a smooth face and a factory-laminated rigid insulation board (flat panels can show slight oil-canning). Same concealed-fastener system on both.
- StylWall II vs. Butlerib II or Shadowall — which should I choose? All three are single-skin Butler wall panels. Butlerib II has exposed fasteners (most economical), Shadowall is semi-concealed, and StylWall II hides the fasteners entirely (most finished look). Choose based on appearance and budget.
- Can I use StylWall II to re-skin an existing wall? Yes. StylWall II is designed for retrofit and recover work as well as new construction. Send your job number, or photos and measurements, and we’ll match it.
-
What gauge and colors are available? 24-gauge in the full ButlerCote wall color range, including Cool (high-SRI) colors. Light Gray is available for interior-facing use.
