About the MR-24 Roof Clip

The MR-24 roof clip is the part that holds your standing seam roof down while letting it move. A metal roof expands and contracts every day and every season. The MR-24 clip grips the purlin with a fixed base, but its tab slides so the panels float freely instead of tugging on the fasteners. That’s what keeps an MR-24 roof tight for decades. Without a floating clip, the panels work against the fasteners over time, which can cut into the panel, back the screws out, and open the roof up to leaks and wind damage.
